Deep NTFS reconstruction
Reads raw $MFT records and ATTRIBUTE_LIST chains to locate deleted files that basic Recycle Bin tools may miss, including heavily fragmented files. NTFS-compressed and EFS-encrypted files are detected but cannot be recovered in this version.
Recycle Bin + residual indexes
Recovers standard $Recycle.Bin entries and deleted MFT records. Files whose original folders cannot be determined are grouped by file type under Reconstructed Files.
Signature carving for residuals
Scans raw disk data for recognizable file signatures when file-system metadata is no longer available. Results are cross-referenced with MFT data to restore original paths when possible.

What can I use for free?
Downloading, scanning, and browsing results are free. Depending on the current service policy, file recovery may either be free or require an active license.
How do I receive a license key?
Choose a 1-month, 1-year, or lifetime license and enter your email. After successful payment, Dodo Payments generates the key and sends it to that address.
Does recovery work offline?
Scanning and browsing are free. After activation, 1-month and 1-year licenses provide recovery access until they expire, while lifetime licenses provide ongoing recovery access. FileUpGo Data Recovery may verify license status and apply relevant authorization or policy updates.
Does FileUpGo Data Recovery upload my scanned files anywhere?
No. File contents never leave your computer. FileUpGo Data Recovery sends only basic device and app information for licensing and policy checks.
Which Windows versions are supported?
Windows 7 SP1, 8, 8.1, 10, and 11 — 64-bit. On a clean Windows 7, the installer automatically installs the required SHA-2 update (KB4490628 / KB4474419) on first launch.
